Think again! We offer the newest daily disposable single-use contact lenses. Daily disposable lenses provide superior comfort, are incredibly convenient, and are now available in almost any prescription.
Your contact lens fitting begins with a comprehensive eye examination. During the examination, your eye doctor will determine the precise measurements required for a proper contact lens fit. The health of your eyes will also be assessed to ensure that contact lenses are not contraindicated for any reason. Finally, your doctor will discuss your motivations for contact lens wear, your daily visual needs, and any special considerations that may affect healthy contact lens wear. After all of this information is determined, your eye doctor will be able to choose the perfect lens for you and begin your contact lens fitting.

Our eye doctors fit ALL types of contact lenses, including:
- Spherical contacts lenses: These lenses are designed for patients who are nearsighted or farsighted who do not have astigmatism. They correct distance vision.
- Toric contact lenses: Toric contact lenses are designed to correct patients who have astigmatism. Today's toric contact lenses are very stable on the eye, which prevents fluctuating vision throughout the day and decreases night-time halos. Custom soft toric and gas-permeable contact lenses available today are capable of correcting nearly any amount of astigmatism.
- Multifocal contact lenses: Multifocal contact lenses are designed to provide distance and near vision correction for patients who have presbyopia and can significantly decrease your dependence on eyeglasses. These lenses are available in many different designs and can be made from soft lens materials or gas-permeable materials. The correct lens for you depends upon your daily activities, your visual demands, and your prescription. Talk to your Sussex Eye Center eye doctor at your next visit to determine which lens is best for you.
- Monovision contact lenses: Monovision contact lenses are also designed to provide you with distance and near vision correction, however with monovision, a patient is corrected for distance vision in one eye and corrected for near vision in the other eye. This correction option is often advantageous for the rare case in which a patient cannot adapt to multifocal contact lenses.
